Reaching Out

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of the messenger who announces peace, who brings good news, who announces salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.” -Isaiah 52:7
Reaching, reaching,
Believers to God,
Like the temple,
Spiraling higher,
Nearer to God,
Nearer to each other.
Reaching, reaching,
God to Believer.
Like the temple,
Spiraling down.
Spreading the word,
Filling the world
Reaching, reaching,
Reaching out.
Reaching up,
Filled by love,
Spreading love.
Promoting peace.
When I think of the spiral of the Temple, I see people reaching up to God. As they become closer to God, they become closer to one another.
Likewise, when God reaches down to us we expand God’s love by reaching out to others.
Prayer Phrase
“Even the darkness is not dark to you; the night is as bright as the day…” (Psalm 139:12).
